Jaw set, Will trudged out against the weather and turned his collar up. Tightening his coat, his fingertips lingered where his heart had been before his hands slid away into his pockets. He had expected it to hurt more, that somehow it would be more painful than his wife's departure, her betrayal, but it wasn't. Letting that Harpy woman, that sea witch, take his heart had been easier than he expected. And now, he felt at peace or rather, he felt nothing which was almost just as good.
Bracing himself, he barely smiled when a group of kids threw snowballs at him and he ducked his head before tucking the bag of goods closer to his body. He was going to see her, not his wife because he knew better, but someone else. Someone from his past. He kept thinking about her, even without his heart in place but it was different somehow. He didn't feel guilty about it any more. Like being with her, or going to be with her was perfectly natural.
Stopping to help an elderly lady up her stoop, Will pressed his lips together in a small smile before heading down the street. He'd be there soon, at Trina's, and then hopefully she could warm him up. He wanted that after all, not his wife.
OOC: Will sold his heart to the Harpy matriarch, find him out wandering in the snow as he heads out to a certain Trina Moon's place.

Helping his grandmother into the town car, Will leaned down so she could press a kiss to her cheek. As much as he loved his grandmother, he was glad she was finally decamping from House Vendetta and he was finally able to give her back her damn phone. And his phone, number finally reinstated, had been replaced finally.
"I hate it when you don't smile William. You know if you just let me here one of those Sullivan boys to take care of the problem-" Will sighed, cutting off his grandmother as he made sure she was belted in and was comfortable. He could do that, he could do a lot of things without overly thinking about the end of his marriage or the fact his wife- the fact his friend hadn't tried to contact him at all.
"By problem you mean take care of my wife, don't you grandmother? You know I love her, why would that help?" Will asked, taking a step backwards so he could close the door. "I'm a grown man, I can look after myself."
"I know sweetie but that doesn't stop me from wanting to help you. You haven't seemed this down since- well." Will nodded because he did know what she was talking about. Poseidon, he needed a drink. "You know we love you. Now, don't forget to tell Ed he's still my favourite. You're nice and all but really sweetie sad drunk is just not a good look for you."
"Of course grandmother," Will replied with a tired smile, taking a step backwards as his grandmother called out to him goodbye as the car pulled away. Waving he waited at least one minute before checking missed calls again to see if Corry had called. Hand tightening around it, he pushed it back into his pocket before ignoring it. He had to stop doing this to himself. "Fuck it, I'm going for a drink."
It was still early but that meant that it was time for a drink somewhere.
OOC: Catch Will either having a drink in the Tavern or on his way for a drink

Pulling at the tie, Will swore softly as he ordered another drink. Checking his phone for missed calls, he ran through his contacts and scrolled past C. He didn't stop at Corrine's number but did hesitate before he smoothed past redialled his brother's number. Smiling at the bartender, he put the phone to his ear before letting out a sigh as Lex's phone went straight to voicemail again. He was beginning to worry about his little brother and he wasn't sure what he was going to do about it yet.
"Alex, Alex, Alex... what am I going to do with you?" Will muttered, trying not to sound concerned about it. He was Will Cabot after all, the life of any party or bar and he couldn't be seen actively moping when the press were already speculating about his interest in certain actresses. "Er- hey, next rounds on me. For the whole bar."
Handing over his card, he smiled as several rather beautiful women attempted to thank him. Grabbing his pint, he headed towards the back where he could get some peace and quiet. And not redial his baby brother or message Corrine. He wasn't that guy.
ooc:feel free for will to accidentally knock his drink all over your char. :)

WINEFEST, AT THE LAKE [OPEN]
Jun. 22nd, 2014 07:00 amBare feet padded down the small jetty, clothes abandoned in his wake as he stripped down. Discarding the Breitling watch onto the wooden boards, he grinned as he dropped the final piece of clothing between him and the water onto the short pier before diving straight into the deep, cool, lake waters. Swimming deep down into the darker waters, Will swam down brushing his finger tips along the lake bed before swimming slowly up. There were some advantages to a Siren ancestry, the attraction to the water and his speed in the water was definitely one of them.
Swimming to one of the buoys, far beneath the surface, Will swam the length and bredth of the lake before he reappeared at one of the floating platforms. Swimming slower, deliberately slowly, Will looked like any other morning swimmer. Emerging from the water, he slicked his hair back before grabbing onto the edge of the pier. Muscles straining as he pulled himself up on to the board, grabbing his towel he wrapped it round his waist before grinning as he realised he had himself an audience.
"Morning," Will began, grinning as he mock saluted them. "Nothing better for a hangover than a morning dip, don't you think?"
