Main street [OPEN TO ALL]
"I hope you're satisfied with our arrangement, I know I am." her voice intoned, sly and bemused but cracked with age. Her face pulled back in a grim satisfied line as Will winced and cleared his throat. Watching her hand tighten around the deeds, she nodded before taking the mostly healed heart before placing it against his chest. "This will hurt, love inevitably does."
Will pressed his hands into the chair, his grip tightening as the two younger women held him down as their grandmother pressed his heart back into his chest. The pressure, the pain, the feeling made him gasp and push against their hold until it was done. His heart was his own again, the feeling of hurt and loss and despair gone finally.
"Next time dearie, don't make deals with the devil or a sea witch. And remind your brother he's to come visit me, such a handsome young man." Will collapsed forward as the two women let go of him, one rushing to collect their grandmother's things and the other looking at him calculatingly. As if assessing his worth. "Now, whatever shall I do with all this land? Well, we'll soon see won't we?"
Will stood up blearily taking two steps into the sunlight as the matriarch of Harpy Bay stepped into her car and her granddaughters followed suit. Taking out his phone he sent a text out to those who might want to know that he had It back before collapsing, shirtless of course, to the floor in the street outside.

Main Street is fortunately, mercifully close and she sees him going down as she walks.
"Will!" Her walk quickly becomes a run as she sprints to his side, putting her arms around his shoulders to keep him from hitting the cold concrete. "Will honey. Oh god. Please be okay."
no subject
"I'm okay, just feels like I've been kicked in the chest by a horse." Will groaned, chuckling at Corry's pretty futile attempt to keep him off the ground. He was probably four times her size and that wasn't even being generous. Looking down at her, he smiled at her and reached out to brush her hair behind her ear. "Hey gorgeous."
no subject
He calls her beautiful and in the moment everything's forgotten except his warmth and the affection that's been so starved of him for too long now and she can't help but beam back at him. "Hey yourself handsome."
But she knows the weight in his chest is because a heart is heavy. She knows she's the one that caused it so much hurt.
"Can you stand? We should get you home. Or maybe - The Quill's closer. Come on. Let's get you out of the street."
no subject
"Yeah, I am. I'm not the one trying to catch someone four times bigger," Will replied with an easy smile, warmth reached his eyes instead of the cold smiles he'd shown. His chest didn't feel heavy even if it ached, it felt lighter than it had in a long time. Since before Henry. "I can stand, don't worry about me."
He pressed a kiss to her shoulder, straightening up before rubbing his chest. There were red marks, red crescents of where her nails had pressed into his skin but it didn't hurt. Not like it had before. "I'm pretty sure I violate the no shirt- no service rule."

His smile is warm and ready. The twinkle returned to his eye. And it makes her own heart hurt again - not with any sort of lingering longing, but affection and nostalgia, how much she's missed him and how much she still hates herself for what she's done to him. Maybe things can finally start getting better now. Corry looks up at him, eyes wide and soft at the recognition of the man she thought lost and wonder at all that has passed. "What happened honey?"
She doesn't have to ask if his heart is truly back. All Corry needs is to see him to know.
no subject
"I don't know, when I find someone then I'll let you know." Will replied lightly, reaching out to touch the end of her hair. Twisting it around his fingertips, he tugged on it lightly and smiled at the feel of her hair in his hands again. How soft it felt, how it felt and how everything felt again. "My heart was healed, decided it was time that it was back in my chest, and my youngest brother might have had something to do with it."
no subject
She smiles at him, face soft with affection, arm still wrapped around him for support as she leads Will towards a nearby bench. "Alright, well we can't have you toppling towards the cement again. Can I get you some water? Or in the water?" Corry wonders if he remembers the days they spent together as mermaids. If he felt that longing and absence of their friendship after too.
"Of course Ed had something to do with it." Corrine sits on the bench beside him and grins. "And time is right. Hey, maybe now you can enter the Mayor's race."
no subject
Will tugged Corry closer as she sat down and smiled thoughtfully.
no subject
"Well clearly you're feeling better." Grinning, she nudges Will softly, shoulder to shoulder. God, she missed him. The warmth that surrounds him, the voice that reminds her of warm honey and the deep mahogany wood of his boat. ...Former boat. For all the years that Corry and Will meant - well, really incredibly hot sex - and then the very swift change in who they were and what they tried to be - maybe it's only been more recently that she realized how much she truly adores and cherishes him as a friend. And a person, but she's always loved him for that. "The sea beckons then."
He pulls her closer, acknowledging agreement. "You mean the water? Or mayor?" She looks up, studying his eyes, trying to get a read. It's something they'd talked about a lot, here and there. His maybe one day future in politics. Much more favorably in recent times. But to think it could be a reality... her smile beams with hope.

Quickly, she crosses the street to kneel beside him, placing a hand lightly on his shoulder. "Will?" Amelie sketches out a quick revival rune on his shoulder, not knowing what she's up against but figuring it's worth a shot. "Will, wake up."
no subject
There's a moment of blissful blankness before he feels the searing pain of revival pressed into his shoulder before he jerked upwards and let out a stream of curses. Pressing a hand against his chest, the red crescent marks lingering on his skin, Will looked at Amelie with a small smile.
"Remind me to never let you wake me up, ever heard of gently does it?" Will asked, laughing tiredly as he pushed himself up before sitting on the ground. He'd move in a moment.

"Had my heart pushed back in my chest by a sea witch with a particular sense of humour. She's not one to take things easy on a guy," Will replied, rubbing his chest. Half smiling at Amelie, he took a breath in and out before making an attempt to stand up. Everything felt heavier and lighter at the same time. "You ever make a deal with a witch?"
no subject
"I'm glad you're back though." Amelie hadn't spoken much to Will since the incident with his heart, but it was partially because she was afraid to. When they were younger, and Amelie was playing the rebel away from school, the vacations spent at home causing trouble with Will Cabot were some of her favourite memories, and he hasn't been that Will, her Will, in months. "I missed you."

Maybe he had seen his pictures in that gossip mag, maybe his sixth sense for fuckable people was playing up. Either way, it was hard not to think about all the things he could do with Will Cabot underneath him. Men didn't like to pay for sex here, not with other men anyway. Bach was close to missing sex with the same sex.
Not that this guy looked to be in the shape of it. "Dude. Need an ambulance? Ride to the hospital? Because you look seriously weak."
no subject
"Who me? No, this is the best I've felt in months." Will replied, lifting himself up off... Corry's brother and straightening himself out a little. He could feel the tension leaving his body though the weight on his chest was strange... he felt lighter and heavier than he had in months. Maybe years. "Just a bit of magic, nothing a cold swim won't clear."

Bach took a step back. "I'd offer you my jacket but it probably won't fit you anyway."
no subject
"Sometimes you need ordinary medicine, this isn't one of those times. Science isn't going to help with the fact I lived without my heart and now it hurts that it's back." Will replied, looking at Corry's brother with a small smile. Especially at the comment about a jacket. "It might fit an arm?"

Every time Bach thought he had a clue about this place, he heard something new that blew his mind.
"Hey,I'm not that tiny. You're just that big. Dude, what did your parents feed you?"
no subject
“You kind of are.” Will replied, stretching and standing up. Everything felt a little sore, maybe he’d call Trina in a little while just to hear her voice. “Anything and everything that I could get my hands on. My brothers didn’t have a look in.”
no subject
"Poor brothers. Glad I don't have those. You sure you don't need any help right now?"

"Okay. On my way then, to the next collapsed god."

Will groans pushing himself up onto his knees, the weight in his chest is a heavy burden that he cannot remember. It’s a strange thing to describe, heavier but lighter too as if something had been lifted from him. Something dark and painful.
Cracking an eye open, he looked up at James and made a face at him.
“You know if you actually got up off your ass and helped me up then you’d realise I’m not drunk.” Will groaned sitting up on the floor, the red marks where nails had pressed in still visible. “And public intoxication laws only apply if I’m driving or in a state park or publically drinking. And even if I was drunk, I’m not doing any of those. Come give me a hand James.”
no subject
With a sigh, James pops open the door and heads over to where Will is struggling to get to his feet. He looks over the red welts on his skin and frowns. "What happened to you? Bad date?" He asks because he was shirtless, using his strength to help lift Will to his feet, offering his shoulder to lean on.

"You did what?" James makes a sound of surprise and then groans as Will leans more of his weight against so he can be helped to the curb. He was heavy and apparently in less control of his body than normal. "What are you talking about? I thought you said you haven't been drinking."
He knows that awhile back Will separated from his wife, it was all over the gossip pages. Someone like Will getting dumped by a movie star was big news, so if Will has been drinking James wouldn't be that surprised.

This town was so crazy sometimes.

Ed tore out of the house the instant he got the text from his brother. He wished that Will would have told him what he was doing so that Ed could be there for him. Viola might not exactly like Ed but she didn't seem to mind him too much. Plus someone should be there so Will didn't do anything more stupid.
When he found his brother on the ground though all other thoughts fled his mind. Had the Sea Witch done something to Will when she gave him his heart back?
"Oh god, please tell me you're alright," he said, rushing to Will's side and kneeling down.
no subject
"I'm alright, just knocked the breath right out of me. What is it with women? They never go easy on a guy," Will said, clasping his hand on Ed's shoulder. Looking at his brother, he smiled easily at him before pushing himself up onto unsteady feet. "Stop worrying about me little brother, pretty sure that's my job."
no subject
Ed immediately noticed that Will was different. There was something in his eyes that Ed hadn't seen in a while. His brother definitely had his heart back, even if it had knocked him for a bit of a loop getting it. Ed didn't care though, he had his brother back and that was all that matter.
"I missed you," he said, grabbing his brother in a crushing hug. "I'm glad you're back."
no subject
"I didn't go anywhere, well not really. You know I think selling my heart to that woman was a good idea, I feel... good." Will said, letting go of his baby brother and ruffling his hair affectionately.
no subject
"You were gone. You were here but it wasn't you, not really," Ed said. Of course, having been the person missing his heart maybe Will couldn't really see that. It didn't matter now though because his brother was back and that was all that mattered. Well, mostly what mattered.
"Oh, well, I'm glad the whole experience was so enjoyable for you because, you know, the rest of us weren't freaking out," Ed said, punching Will in the shoulder for good measure.

Ed didn't think that Will had it under control at all, but he was too happy at the moment to harp on that point. Maybe it wasn't really his place to call Will out on that anyway. Hopefully their father would. Someone had to.
"I don't want to hurt you. Who knows, if I hit your arm too hard you might to give it to Nerium or something."
