[Closed to Essie]
There was a mark where his heart had been, red half moons imprinted on his chest where claws had removed a black stained heart. It had hurt for a brief moment, then there had been nothing, and now? Now, he still felt nothing. He wanted to feel something again, he wanted to feel anything again. The warmth of another's body pressed against his, the pleasure of someone smiling because of him, or something and anything.
Sat at the bar Will ordered another drink, letting the music wash over him as he tried to feel anything. The press of bodies was inviting but he'd rather find one person to feel that with. Rather than lose himself in the crowd. Glancing down the bar, he smiled at the beautiful woman who had approached it and waved the bartender back. He was pretty sure that was Levi's little sister? Cousin? Cousin.
"And whatever the lady wants, on me." Will shouted, pressing his lips together in a heated smile as he looked her over. "Hey, Levi's cousin right?"

Then suddenly, the was another double bourbon on the rocks sitting in front of her and a very hot man looking her way. A man who apparently knew Levi. It wasn't a show-stopper, but it did make her pause for a moment before she decided to just see if this was anything other than a friendly gesture.
"Cousin-ish." Returning the shout, she tossed back the remainder of her old drink and picked up the new, weaving her way through the crowded bar until she slid herself into the empty space next to her beverage benefactor. "Thank you for the drink, Mr....?"

Essie recognized the name, hard not to when it was a tabloid staple around town but that was little more than a blip. She didn't really care what gossips said and there was even a part of her that wouldn't mind fueling the flames. Nothing like a bright bonfire to obscure the subtle truths in the world. But all that was neither here nor there and she gleefully tossed it out the mental window as she ran the tip of her finger along the rim of her glass, "Wakewood, call me Essie and I'm always happy to prove a handsome man wrong."

"Second," Will murmured, leaning closer to her so that he could talk with her. His arm pressed against one side of her body, his lips brushed her ear as he leaned closer so that she could hear him. So, they didn't have to shout. And if it brought them closer then he wasn't going to argue with that. "Essie... nice to meet you finally. So, are you here on your own?"
Will smiled a little wolfishly, eyes following the way her finger traced the glass then up to her lips.

"I was." Smiling, Essie luxuriated in the way his eyes slid over her as she leaned into his arm a little. This was going to be a good night after all. "Seems I might have found someone to be here with. Unless you were just leaving, that is." And if he was, she would have to decide is she was leaving with him. She had come out tonight looking for a little action, after all, it would almost be a crime not to take this opportunity if it's presented to her.
Picking up her glass, she took a sip and the offered him the glass. "Only right I should share before you go, you bought it after all."

"No, not unless you want to join me?" Will replied, a slow lingering smile remaining on his lips as he considered the idea. A little taste of who he used to be, to keep the fires going, and he kind of liked the idea of stoking the fires with her. "I could think of more pleasurable ways to share it with you, if you wanted."
Will took the glass pressing his tongue to the edge of the glass before taking a mouthful and leaning in closer to capture her lips with his in a kiss.

and more importantly, she wondered how long it would take them to get there.

"Call me Will, I'm staying at the hotel near here. It's about five minutes walk," Will murmured against her mouth, leaning closer to slide an arm round her waist. Considering her with a wicked, heated look he stood up and licked his lips before offering her his hand. "And it has a much better bar selection if you wanted that, and much more private if you'd rather do something or rather someone else."
ooc: im so sorry, i didn't realise i hadn't tagged this -_-

"I'm all about trying new things, Will, I think your selections will be very adequate." Taking his hand, Essie rose on her tiptoes to whisper in his ear, "And I definitely like privacy when I'm sampling new pleasures." In other words, the hotel would be perfect.
Grabbing her purse and coat off the barstool, she tugged his hand as she headed towards the bar. This night wasn't a waste after all. Perfect. She needed this badly.
[ooc: that's okay! and we can fast-forward a bit to the hotel at this point if you want to]
