He doubted her mother would appreciate his flirting or trying to get her starkers in front of everyone, he knew his mother wouldn't or perhaps his mother would. Sometimes it seemed that anything could be forgiven if it meant that William was more likely inclined to settle down with a 'respectable' woman like Amelie.
