That's not true. This, right here, with Will doesn't seem like a smart
idea, but she doesn't say that. Instead, she smiles teasingly and kisses
him on the lips. "I only do great things," she says in agreement. Just then
her cellphone rings from in her bedroom. She pats his shoulder to move so
she can go around him.
"Lemme take this. You continue doing whatever it is you're doing in my
kitchen," she says, taking her wine on the way out. When she picks up the
call and it's Corrine Flynn on the other end, she shuts the bedroom door
too and escapes to her balcony. Their conversation is short and to the
point. Not exactly friendly but not altogether rude. Corrine thinks she's
done Trina favor, but when she hangs up the phone and reenters her
apartment, she's just confused.
Harpy Bay? Sea witches? Sold hearts? How is she suppose to respond to this?
Eventually after taking a couple minutes to think, she rejoins Will in the
kitchen. This time she gives him a hard scrutinizing look trying to judge
any differences in his behavior. She decides to just be direct in her
questioning. She is a reporter after all.
"Will," she says, taking a seat on one of the barstools. "I just got an
call. From Corrine. What happened today?"
